The incident took place on Monday, December 9, at around 5:00 p.m., near the railway station in Bolesławiec. According to the officers’ findings, the driver of a Volkswagen, a 77-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to yield to a pedestrian who was on the crossing.
The woman was hit. The 22-year-old woman from Bolesławiec was injured and was taken to hospital with a broken nose.
The police appeal for caution and prudence on the road.
