Jelenia Góra criminal investigators detained a 21-year-old woman suspected of possessing a significant quantity of drugs.

Police received information that the woman might possess narcotics. The smell of marijuana was clearly noticeable in the apartment where the drugs were reportedly located.

The suspect was very nervous during the police proceedings. As it turned out, narcotics really were hidden on the premises. Officers found marijuana and methamphetamine, from which more than 1,000 commercial doses could be produced in total.

The woman was initially taken into police custody. Then, at the prosecutor’s request, she was remanded in temporary custody for three months.

Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail, including where the drugs came from and whether the suspect was dealing them.

The young woman could face up to 10 years in prison.
