As part of promoting the ideas of unity, harmony, respect and peace—which are the charism of the Taizé Community (and which are so greatly lacking in the contemporary world)—and publicizing the Wrocław meeting among young people from our region, the final of the Taizé Knowledge Contest, organized by the Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych, was held in Bolesławiec at the Municipal Public Library – Knowledge Center.
The path to harmony, unity and cooperation is one on which a step forward can be taken only through the synergy of good intentions and reliable knowledge. Knowledge that helps us discover what is good in another person, including someone of a different faith, with different views and experiences. That is why the idea behind the contest and the Taizé Community itself proves to be exceptionally relevant and greatly needed today. May the energy of the young people who will come to Wrocław to build peace and harmony also inspire us—the residents of the Bolesławiec region.
