The duty officer at the Lubin police station was notified by a 31-year-old resident of Lubin municipality that he had been attacked and beaten in his own home. The five perpetrators—two women and three men—left before the police arrived. Nevertheless, all of them were arrested later that same day and taken to a police cell.
According to investigators, the reason for the entire incident was… one of the aggressor’s jealousy of his partner. After he was asked to leave the complainant’s home, he called his family: two men, aged 31 and 35, who arrived at the scene with their wives, aged 26 and 28.
All the suspects forcibly broke into the 31-year-old’s apartment. The three men began kicking and punching the victim all over his body. His mother and sister came to the attacked man’s defense. At that point, they were… attacked by the wives of two of the assailants.
An ambulance was called, but fortunately no one required hospitalization.
The five aggressors will face charges, among other offenses, for assault, violating domestic peace and issuing criminal threats.
