Officers from Bolesławiec, Kruszyn and Nowogrodziec conducted intensive operations over two days aimed at arresting people who made a living, among other things, from thefts and burglaries and who were hiding from justice.

Over the course of two days, 9 men and 1 woman were arrested by the officers. As many as 8 of those arrested were taken straight to prison; they had sentences of imprisonment to serve. (All those arrested were residents of Bolesławiec County, aged between 28 and 58).

The longest sentence will be served by a 29-year-old man, who will spend nearly 3 years in prison.

In addition, two of those arrested, who committed the crimes together, were charged with theft and burglary. As a result of searches, police recovered property that had been stolen by the suspects.
