The incident took place on Friday, October 25, at around 2:30 p.m., in the town of Nowe Jaroszowice (Bolesławiec municipality). The driver of a bus, a 51-year-old resident of Lwówek County, failed to yield the right of way to a Renault passenger car.
A collision occurred, as a result of which the passenger car also hit a Volkswagen driven by a 56-year-old resident of Bolesławiec and a Ford carrying a 46-year-old man—also from the City of Ceramics.
Two people traveling in the Renault were injured in the accident: the 46-year-old driver and a 55-year-old passenger. Both were taken to hospital. (They are residents of Lwówek County.)
