Organisers:
Since the establishment of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police, the competition has held an important place in the annual schedule of educational events.
The prizes for the winning teams were funded by the Mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, who gave the competition his honorary patronage. In addition, the purchase of the prizes was co-financed by the Social Building Society in Bolesławiec.
As usual, teams from grades four, five and six of primary schools competed (17 teams in total). Municipal Police:
The competition covered a range of issues related to safety in the broadest sense, particularly road safety, as well as safe leisure for young people during summer holidays, winter holidays and mountain trips, and the principles of providing first aid. An important element of the competition was also testing knowledge of environmental education, particularly the proper handling of various types of waste.
As in previous editions, the competition consisted of three parts. The first part was a multiple-choice test: 29 questions on safety and environmental knowledge. The second part consisted of 15 questions on first aid.
The team representatives also had to compete on the road traffic town. Their task was to complete the course—in compliance with the applicable road traffic regulations!—in the shortest possible time.
