During Thursday's meeting of the Bolesławiec County Council, county head Tomasz Gabrysiak said that county authorities had met with representatives of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

And, importantly for the residents of the City of Ceramics and our county, the head of the Lower Silesian police is to ask the director of the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways to submit a request for the construction of a roundabout at the Cieszkowskiego (bypass)–Modłowa intersection. Incidentally, a new headquarters for the Bolesławiec police will soon be built near this intersection.

“It is dangerous there; there are quite a lot of collisions, minor crashes and accidents at this intersection,” emphasized the head of the Bolesławiec County Board.

Whether a roundabout will actually be built there is not yet known. We will return to the subject.

What do you think? Is a roundabout at this location a good idea? We invite you to join the discussion.
