– The leader of the project is the regional government, while its implementers will be the Dolnośląski Ośrodek Polityki Społecznej in partnership with the municipalities of Długołęka, Brzeg Dolny, Kłodzko, Gromadka, Wińsko, Lądek Zdrój and Oleśnica – explains Marshal Cezary Przybylski.
In April this year, the regional government submitted an application for funding to implement the “Lower Silesian Nurseries II” project, carried out with support from the European Social Fund under the Regional Operational Programme. Its aim is to support the professional activation of parents or legal guardians returning to the labour market after a break related to the birth of a child.
– The funding will make it possible to create new childcare places in nurseries and children’s clubs, as well as ensure the ongoing operation of the facilities for 24 months – adds Deputy Marshal Marcin Krzyżanowski.
This means that the money may be used to cover children’s meals and stays, as well as the salaries of carers and management staff. In addition, the funding will provide equipment and teaching aids for children.
