The incident occurred on Friday, September 13, in the evening, on Widok Street in Bolesławiec. The driver of a Fiat (with license plates from Lwówek) failed to yield the right of way to a Peugeot driven by a 44-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
Fortunately, the latter was unharmed. Unfortunately, two Peugeot passengers were injured in the accident: a 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man. Both were taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. The 20-year-old suffered a broken arm.
The Fiat driver fled the scene. The police know the identity of the person responsible for the accident. Measures are underway to arrest him.
The man faces up to three years in prison.
