Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn arrested the perpetrator of several break-ins and gas cylinder thefts. Since mid-August, the man has committed at least six such crimes in Osła, Trzebień, Szczytnica, Bożejowice and Tomaszów Bolesławiecki.
In total, the thief stole 32 gas cylinders, causing losses of nearly PLN 5,000.
The perpetrator is a 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. He did not act alone; his accomplices will also answer for their actions.
The man from Bolesławiec has been arrested. He now faces up to 10 years in prison. (Steps to recover the stolen property are ongoing).
