The incident occurred on Tuesday, September 3, in the afternoon at the provincial psychiatric hospital in Bolesławiec. A 23-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality came to the facility himself. During the examination, the young man punched the doctor in the face.
The police were notified and detained the 23-year-old. The suspect was charged with violating the bodily integrity of a public official.
He could now face a sentence of up to three years in prison.
