A young man reported to the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, stating that several hours earlier he had been attacked and his mobile phone had been stolen. The police officers’ immediate findings and thorough reconnaissance led to the perpetrator’s swift arrest.
The man suspected of committing the robbery was in the hands of the officers within two hours of the victim filing the report. During a search of the 30-year-old Bolesławiec resident, police found a phone originating from the crime.
The value of the recovered property was PLN 800. In addition, officers found narcotic substances on the detainee. A test conducted by a forensic technician confirmed that the secured substance was marijuana.
The detainee will face charges for two offences and could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
