An American base is being built near Świętoszów. (And there is nothing unusual about that, because the training ground there is one of the largest in Europe.) The work is slowly getting underway.
As Andrzej Juryta, the village head of Świętoszów (Osiecznica municipality), emphasizes, local entrepreneurs will certainly benefit from this, especially those in the catering and food-retail industries. But not only them.
What is more, from September, another 500 US Army soldiers will be stationed at the Świętoszów brigade.
