The incident occurred on August 6 at Poznań–Ławica Airport. A 37-year-old woman reported for the check-in of passengers departing for Doncaster. During document checks, Border Guard officers established that the 37-year-old was wanted by the District Court in Poznań. She had to serve a two-day prison sentence for failing to pay a PLN 100 fine.

After consulting the unit conducting the search, it was established that the Polish woman could be released after paying the PLN 100 fine.
The woman paid the fine, but the plane to the United Kingdom departed without her.
