The incident took place on Sunday, August 4, on one of the streets in Bolesławiec. A reader wrote to us via Facebook:

The police have just finished an intervention in our garage. Young people made themselves a love nest there and moved in with their belongings. A bed made from a pallet, with three mattresses on it. A refrigerator, television, microwave, car seats, food and other everyday items.

She emphasized:

I am writing this as a warning to garage owners.

The owner of the garage in question is the reader’s friend. They use the property together. After a serious theft occurred there two years ago, the woman who reported the incident and her fiancé have treated the place as a storage area for unnecessary items. “A few days ago, my fiancé was in the garage to get some small things, and everything was fine,” the woman explains. Last Sunday, her friend informed her that someone had simply... moved in.

The intruders told the police that the garage had been open. The reader describes the matter differently:

Two young people were locked inside with a padlock. Voices could be heard from inside, but no one opened the door. After a while, a car arrived with two boys, and they opened the garage, explaining that it had been open and [dlatego]had settled in.

Fortunately, nothing was stolen. Nevertheless, we warn you: protect your property!

As we managed to establish, the garage owner intends to secure the property himself.
