Police officers from the Traffic Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, while patrolling roads in Miasto Ceramiki and Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, stopped two drivers who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by more than 50 km/h.
The first to fall into the officers’ hands was a 49-year-old resident of Lubusz Voivodeship. The man was stopped in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki—he was speeding through a built-up area at 109 km/h.
The second vehicle was stopped in Bolesławiec. A 40-year-old man from Nowogrodziec municipality exceeded the speed limit by nearly 70 km/h.
Both drivers lost their driving licences for three months; they were also fined and received penalty points.
