The Wspólnota magazine published a ranking of the revenues of local-government units in 2018. As it turns out, Bolesławiec dropped by 17 places in the category of county towns: from 37th place in 2017 to 54th place last year. (In 2016, we ranked 34th in this list.)

Interestingly, the wealth of Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec itself has not suffered—once again, in fact; on the contrary, it increased by approximately PLN 33 per person (from PLN 3,334.41 in revenue per resident in 2017 to PLN 3,367.59 per capita in 2018). This is an increase of just under 1 percent.
