Another piece of unexploded ordnance has been found. This time, it was discovered near the village of Radogoszcz: right next to railway line No. 297, between Lubań and Gierałtów.
Workers discovered the live grenade during renovation work on the track. Train traffic on this route has been suspended until further notice.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal Patrol No. 23 of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec is already at the site and will deal with neutralizing the dangerous find.
The sappers will also search the immediate area, as there may be more unexploded ordnance.
