The incident occurred on Thursday, July 11, at around 12:40 p.m. The fire broke out on the ground floor of a two-storey building on Sienkiewicza Street in Nowogrodziec.
A man who was inside the building suffered smoke inhalation. He made his way outside on his own. Firefighters provided him with qualified first aid.
Fortunately, the injured man did not suffer any more serious consequences. (He was not taken to hospital).
Five fire service units took part in the operation: three from Bolesławiec and two from OSP KSRG Nowogrodziec, as well as an emergency medical team and the police, who are determining the cause of the incident.
