Every road user, even in fine weather, should ensure they are visible on the road. A reflective vest or tape – in the case of pedestrians – and functioning bicycle lights enable drivers to spot pedestrians and cyclists from a distance.
Wearing a helmet is the most effective way to reduce head injuries resulting from both cycling and motorcycle accidents.
