Police officers patrolling the roads of Bolesławiec County stopped a 24-year-old man who was riding a moped without a helmet. During the inspection, it turned out that the man was intoxicated. The test showed that the resident of Gromadka municipality was driving with more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
In addition, the officers established that the registration plates attached to the two-wheeler had been stolen in 2018 in Bolesławiec County.
The police are currently determining how the man came into possession of the stolen property.
For driving while intoxicated, the 24-year-old faces up to two years in prison.
