The Bolesławiec police headquarters is seeking candidates for the position of senior inspector in the Communications and IT Subunit of the Support Team:

  • education: secondary.

Main duties:

  • administering and managing the IT equipment provided to the District Police Headquarters and subordinate units in a manner ensuring its proper operation (network devices, servers, terminals, UKSP, access stations, PC sets, printers)
  • resolving ongoing problems experienced by users of IT systems at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • training users of IT systems at the Headquarters and subordinate units; carrying out ongoing service repairs of IT equipment, qualifying equipment for repairs at service centres, and periodically securing data
  • ensuring the security and protection of the communications systems in use and cryptographic and code devices
  • eliminating faults occurring in internal installations used at the Headquarters and subordinate units
  • keeping records of the tangible assets of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec with regard to IT equipment and issuing consumables
  • serving as the local technical administrator of the Police Classified Technical System (SNP) for the National Criminal Information Centre (KCIK) module and the Police Information System (PSI) module, the K-2 Lite encryptor, and the LAN administrator of the Police Classified Data Transmission Network (PSTDN) at the Headquarters.

Working conditions:

  • work at a computer screen for more than half of the daily working time
  • single-shift work performed from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • work in natural and artificial lighting
  • work at the office premises, requiring movement between floors and subordinate units
  • workstation equipped with a computer and other office equipment
  • the building is not adapted for people with disabilities (no lift, no ramp, and doors and toilets of inadequate width).

Essential requirements:

  • professional experience/work experience: 1 year of experience working in communications and IT
