Four suspects were arrested by police on May 28. The first was detained in one of the mobile phone shops. The 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec wanted to fraudulently obtain a phone worth over PLN 800 using a false employment certificate. The man received the forged document from a 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. He was also arrested.
Less than an hour later, a similar attempt at fraud took place in the same shop. This time, officers detained two men, aged 20 and 21. One of them tried to fraudulently obtain a phone worth PLN 500.
The suspects face up to 8 years in prison.
