The project is dedicated to people over 60. Its main aim is to promote activity and intergenerational integration by organising various forms of support. The programme could not have been implemented without the involvement of entrepreneurs from Bolesławiec and restaurant and café owners.
The “Active Senior Card” project is intended for residents of Bolesławiec—women and men aged 60 and over, regardless of their material and living situation or the amount of their income. During the project, passes will be issued, allowing seniors to take advantage of the discounts prepared for them.
The project partners offering specially prepared deals are:
- Salon Olivia, 2 Magistracka Street – eyebrow care (henna and shaping) – 15% discount; facial beauty treatments – 20% discount; nail care (gel and hybrid) – 15% discount
- Ceramics Museum, 13 Mickiewicza Street and 14 Kutuzowa Street – free admission
- Bella Italia Restaurant, 2 Zgorzelecka Street – 5% discount on the order
- Retro Pancake House, 24 Rynek Street – 10% discount on the order
- Pasja Flower Studio, 34a Tysiąclecia Avenue (Intermarché Passage) – discounts on bouquets and floral arrangements
- Mobile manicure, pedicure and hairdressing services, tel. 790 310 769 – discount to be agreed.
The project will run from 11 June to 31 December, with the possibility of extending it into 2020. Passes will be issued at the Municipal Social Welfare Centre every day from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m..
