As reported by “Super Express”, the Ministry of Health wants to introduce precise guidelines determining the order in which patients are admitted. The intended result is that those most in need will see a doctor first. A ticketing system is expected to help with this.

The proposal provides that people arriving at an emergency department independently or transported by emergency medical teams, units cooperating with the system, or mobile teams providing medical security at mass events will receive a ticket marked with the time of arrival at the emergency department and an individual patient number.
After registering, they will undergo medical triage. Following an analysis of the reported symptoms and the values of selected medical parameters, they will be assigned to one of five categories, with different waiting times for initial contact with a doctor—from immediate assistance in the red category to the blue category, indicating the absence of an acute health emergency, in which medical assistance may be postponed.
