Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn identified and arrested a man suspected of stealing a bicycle worth PLN 1,000.
The crime occurred in the last days of May; the bicycle was stolen from a property in Bolesławiec Commune.
After arresting the 28-year-old, the police determined where the aforementioned vehicle was. To conceal his actions, the perpetrator repainted the bicycle frame.
The 28-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka Commune has already been charged with theft. He now faces up to five years in prison. (The bicycle was returned to its owner.)
