In connection with phone calls and messages from citizens reporting messages allegedly sent by police officers, we inform you that the Polish Police never sends links to websites or compressed files via electronic messages that recipients are expected to unpack themselves.
Officers add:
Every such message received should be treated as potentially containing malicious software in an attachment or link.
