Officers from Nowogrodziec received a report of a bicycle theft. A woman came to the town and entered a retail outlet, leaving her bicycle unsecured. When she came out a few minutes later, her property was gone.
Police officers conducting the investigation noticed a man riding the stolen bicycle. The 35-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality was arrested and charged with theft.
The man pleaded guilty. He could now face up to five years in prison.
The officers returned the recovered bicycle to its owner.
