On 2 June, the cycling ride with Bolesławiec County took place. After setting off from the county office at 12 Armii Krajowej Street, the cyclists, accompanied by police officers escorting them, followed this 20-kilometre route: Teatralna, Sądowa, Grunwaldzka, Tamka, Wesoła, Zgorzelecka and Generała Nila streets, Widok Street and country and forest roads to Ranczo Piotrowski in Dobra. A tasty refreshment awaited everyone at the ranch—grilled sausage and ice cream.
For the first time, guests from the Czech Republic, from the area around the city of Turnov, took part in the running and cycling ride with Bolesławiec County. They were members of the sports club Tělovýchovná jednota Turnov, z.s. Around 30 Czech athletes supported the county’s runners and cyclists through the implementation of the cross-border project “Ahoj-Cześć – meet us in Bolesławiec County,” co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and state budget funds under the Euroregion Nysa Microprojects Fund, Interreg V-A Czech Republic–Poland 2014–2020.
