On Saturday (June 1), at 9:00 a.m., around one hundred runners set off from the Bolesławiec county office at 12 Armii Krajowej Street. Anyone willing could take part. The entire route was 68 km long. It was divided into sections and completed as a relay.

Here is the route plan for the running relay: start – Armii Krajowej, Rynek, Asnyka, Spółdzielcza, Piastów, Kruszyn, Łaziska, Wartowice, Warta Bolesławiecka, Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, Kraśnik Górny, Kraśnik Dolny, Dąbrowa, Krępnica, Osieczów, Kierżno, Parzyce, Nowogrodziec, Ocice, Kraszowice, Otok, Rakowice, and entry into Bolesławiec via Gdańska Street to Plac Piastowski, Orla, through Górne Młyny, Zgorzelecka, Prusa, to Rynek and the finish at Armii Krajowej. The finish was set up in the same place as the start.

The competitors reached the finish at around 4:00 p.m. All participants received commemorative medals from the Bolesławiec county governor.

For the first time, guests from the Czech Republic, from the area around the city of Turnov, took part in the running and cycling Rundka z Powiatem Bolesławieckim. They were members of the sports club Tělovýchovná jednota Turnov, z.s. Around 30 Czech athletes supported the county’s runners and cyclists through the implementation of the cross-border project “Ahoj-Cześć – let’s meet in Powiat Bolesławiecki,” co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget as part of the Microprojects Fund of the Nysa Euroregion, Interreg V-A Czech Republic–Poland 2014–2020.
