Police officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn, while conducting intensive activities related to the motorcycle theft and cooperating with officers from Lubań County, identified the location of the two-wheeler lost as a result of the crime.
The incident occurred at the beginning of May this year in Bolesławiec municipality.
The perpetrator stole the vehicle from private property and then left the motorcycle with a mechanic, pretending that repairs were needed. Police officers recovered the motorcycle, worth PLN 12,000, and identified the perpetrator of the theft.
The 30-year-old from Lubań County will face charges for theft, for which he may receive a sentence of up to 5 years in prison. The man has been serving a prison sentence for previous crimes for several days.
