The incident occurred on May 29 on Mickiewicza Street in Nowogrodziec, next to the Dino store. A man approximately 40 years old suffered sudden cardiac arrest.
Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
One of the witnesses to the incident was OSP Nowogrodziec firefighter Michał Nowak, who immediately began resuscitation. He asked bystanders to call the ambulance service, while he notified another firefighter, who promptly went to the station and manually activated the alarm siren.
The firefighters took a medical bag and an automated external defibrillator from the garage and immediately drove in a private car to help with the resuscitation.
Six firefighters from Nowogrodziec fought for the young man's life.

Unfortunately, despite the efforts of our firefighters and paramedics from Bolesławiec and Lubań, after approximately an hour of resuscitation, a doctor pronounced the man dead.
