On Monday, 27 May, a ceremony marking Local Government Day was held at the Belweder Palace. During the ceremony, President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda decorated local government officials, among others, “for merits in social and local-government activities”.
Among those honoured was Tomasz Gabrysiak, the Bolesławiec starosta. Our local government official received the Gold Cross of Merit.
