We have reported several times that the new headquarters of the Bolesławiec police will be built at the intersection of Cieszkowskiego and Modłowa streets in Bolesławiec. (The tender for construction of the new headquarters has just been launched).
What will happen to the building on Zygmunt August Street, which currently houses the County Police Headquarters? One idea is that it could become the new headquarters of the Municipal Social Welfare Centre. (The MOPS currently operates on Cicha Street).
Whether this will happen is not yet known. It is certain, however, that before this could take place, the building on Zygmunt August Street would have to undergo a major renovation.
