Bolesławiec criminal investigators identified the perpetrators of two thefts. The suspects were arrested together, but each of them was charged with different offenses.
The 34-year-old resident of the Nowogrodziec municipality will answer for committing two offenses. The first was the theft of a handbag containing documents from a car, and the second was forcing an acquaintance to drive a vehicle through threats and violence.
During a search of the car in which the men were caught, police officers found documents originating from the crime.
The second arrested man is a 32-year-old from Bolesławiec. He was charged with stealing branded clothing worth nearly PLN 1,700. (The crime took place in one of Bolesławiec’s stores.)
The younger of the arrested men is a repeat offender who has been convicted multiple times of crimes against property.
Both suspects could now face up to five years in prison.
