On 16 May, the municipal police duty officer received a telephone report that an unknown offender had dumped various types of waste (including cardboard tubes and plastic advertising elements) into containers on the grounds of the municipal cemetery in Bolesławiec. What is more, all the rubbish—unsorted—was thrown into a container intended for ballast.

A patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene and confirmed the report. The officers identified the perpetrator of the offence.

The man was fined. Bolesławiec Municipal Police:

He explained his actions by saying that he did not know that a PSZOK existed in Bolesławiec, where collected and sorted waste could be handed over, and that the containers he owned were already overflowing.

The offender cleaned up his rubbish. Bolesławiec Municipal Police once again informs the public:

The conduct described above is unacceptable and punishable, so let us remember this, especially when planning a renovation.
