Services received a report of a desperate man on the viaduct after 11 p.m. Fire engines, police and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters deployed an air rescue cushion.
We do not know what prompted the man to enter the viaduct and threaten to jump. The desperate man's family was at the scene, urging him to come down.
All trains travelling across the viaduct were halted.
The man kept changing his location. Firefighters therefore had to move the air rescue cushion. After an hour and a half, the man entered the tracks and the firefighters lost sight of him. It turned out that he had fled from the viaduct towards Ceramiczna Street. The police were unable to apprehend him.
