The incident took place on Easter Sunday, in the evening, on Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec. A disagreement arose between two friends.

When the police arrived at the scene, one of the men, a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was holding a knife. He threw it away at the officers’ command.

However, he later failed to comply with the officers’ orders and began struggling with one of them. The police then used a stun gun on the suspect and subdued the aggressive man.

At the time of his arrest, the man was drunk. His blood alcohol level was over 1.5 per mille. He could now face up to three years in prison for violating the bodily integrity of an officer.

The second man, a 26-year-old resident of Bolesławiec municipality, had drugs on him. He could also face up to three years behind bars.
