On 16 April, during the night, the duty officer at the police station in Bogatynia received a report that a man had been wounded with a knife in one of the gaming salons in the city.
Patrol officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. The injured man was taken to hospital, while police officers began efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
Unfortunately, the victim died as a result of his injuries.
At the scene of the incident—under the supervision of a prosecutor—police officers from the Criminal Investigation and Detective Department, including a forensic technician, as well as traffic officers, carried out their work.

As a result of the actions taken, police officers arrested a man suspected of the crime in less than two hours.
The man was charged. At the prosecutor's request, the court remanded the suspect in custody for three months. The aggressor could face life imprisonment.
