The incident occurred during the night of April 13–14 in the village of Wojciechów (Lwówek County). During a social gathering, a 45-year-old man beat a 62-year-old resident of the aforementioned village. The victim died as a result of his injuries.
The perpetrator was arrested. At the prosecutor’s request, the District Court in Lwówek Śląski ordered two months of pre-trial detention for the 45-year-old resident of Wojciechów.
The police and the prosecutor’s office are determining the causes and circumstances of the tragedy. The suspect will answer for his actions before the court.
