Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, as a result of operational activities, identified and arrested the perpetrator of the fuel theft.
The 20-year-old drained fuel from the tank of the same farm tractor twice in one night. In total, the thief stole 100 litres of diesel fuel.
The suspect confessed to the crime. He explained that he used the fuel for his own needs.
The 20-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality now faces up to five years in prison.
