On 3 April, officers from the Police Station in Bogatynia were notified of a break-in at a garage in the town. The perpetrator, who was unknown at the time, stole, among other things, a Rosengart vehicle, as well as bicycles and power tools worth nearly PLN 53,000 in total.

Bogatynia officers found the historic vehicle from 1932 the very next day.

On 9 April, the suspect, a 34-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, was charged with burglary. He could face up to 10 years in prison. (Money was secured toward future penalties).

Efforts to recover the rest of the stolen property are ongoing.
