Reader informed us that on Sunday, April 7, in the evening, in Tomisław (Osiecznica municipality), he detained a drunk driver as a citizen.
The person who reported the incident took the keys from the 60-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality and notified the police.
When the officers arrived at the scene, as the Reader says, after about an hour, it turned out that the 60-year-old had—remarkably!—nearly 2.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The drunk driver was detained. He now faces up to two years in prison.
Kudos to the Reader for his civic-minded attitude!
