Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, patrolling the Osiecznica municipality at night, stopped a vehicle for inspection. Its driver turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
It emerged that the teenager was driving under the influence; he had more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his breath.
The young man could face a sentence of up to two years in prison. The police said:
We are also clarifying whether the driver was involved that same night in a road incident in Bolesławiec.
