Participation in the races is free of charge. The recurring “Four Seasons – Run with MOSiR” competition aims to promote and popularize running as the simplest form of physical activity, integrate sports communities and provide an idea for spending free time. The event is organized by the Municipality of Bolesławiec – Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre and the Bolesławiec Running Club.
Anyone interested may participate, regardless of their place of residence, including both amateurs and athletes holding sports licenses. The races are held in age categories for women and men. Assignment to an age category is determined by the year of birth (for determining whether an athlete is an adult, the date of birth is used).
More details are available in the event regulations on the website of the Water and Sports Centre mosir.boleslawiec.pl
In each race in the series, participants earn points, and their final position in the overall standings is determined by the total number of points earned in the individual races. Participants who take part in all four races receive a points bonus. The distance of the main race is approximately 4,321 m. The route runs along the beaver trail, between the bridges. The distance of the gnome race is approximately 150 m; the children’s race is approximately 250 m for categories I and II and approximately 1,000 m for categories III and IV. The running route is located at the Water and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec. This year, a classification of schools and preschools is being conducted under new rules.
A family classification has been introduced as a new feature. A family team consists of at least two people. The team’s minimum composition must remain unchanged throughout the entire series of races. Points for the family classification are transferred from the age classification in which all individual family members participated. The final position in the overall classification for the entire series is determined by the total number of points earned by the family in the races held as part of the series. A family team whose registered members participated in all four races receives a 100-point bonus. If teams obtain the same number of points, their order is determined by: – the number of race participations (number of people × number of starts).
