On March 30 at 8:30 p.m., millions of people around the world will turn off the lights during WWF’s symbolic Earth Hour to express their concern for the future of the natural environment.

This year in Poland, the campaign will take place under the slogan #nieniszczedomu.

As we read on the City of Bolesławiec’s Facebook profile:

Bolesławiec has joined the group of cities that have already declared their participation in this year’s campaign.

The “Earth Hour” campaign is, of course, symbolic in nature and has practically no effect on energy savings. However, it draws attention to environmental protection, which is its main objective.
