We have written many times in these pages about the mess that litterers leave in various places throughout our county. Often, when the matter concerned the Ceramic City, we also asked for comment on the issue—sometimes from the municipal police, sometimes from the Municipal Housing Management Company. We understand that this problem cannot be eliminated completely. We know that the services cannot be stationed in one place around the clock.
Perhaps it is therefore worth appealing ONCE AGAIN—perhaps somewhat naively—to fans of spending time outdoors (and drinking) to take their rubbish with them. All the more so now, as spring is approaching and county residents will certainly be going for walks more often. And quite frequently with small children.
