Last weekend Łukasz Król, an officer from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, took part in one of the most challenging half marathons in the country.
In Sobótka, runners set off on a 21-kilometre course. Nearly half of the route consisted of uphill sections, and the difference in elevation between the lowest and highest points was approximately 200 metres.
The difficult route, requiring considerable determination, was a major challenge for the runners. The Bolesławiec police officer paced himself very well and once again demonstrated excellent form.
Sergeant Łukasz Król from the Bolesławiec police unit finished third in his age category. The officer from the Prevention Department has participated in events including the Independence Run, the Wielka Pętla Izerska Half Marathon, and the Rzeźnik Run over a distance of... 82 km.
KPP Bolesławiec:
By taking part in sporting events, our police officer promotes not only the uniform and Bolesławiec County, but also an active lifestyle.
In addition, the runner is actively involved in the Klub Biegacza Bolesławiec association.
