The 2018 OPPA International Bard Festival is one of the few festivals of its kind that recognizes independent creators of music and lyrics, as well as performers. When the talented young woman from Bolesławiec submitted her own songs to the festival, she did not believe at all that she would qualify for the semifinals in Warsaw. She set off on the journey with her parents, and upon arrival it turned out that she was the youngest participant in the competition’s 36-year history. The level of the competition was very high. Zosia really liked the festival’s idea, which emphasizes one’s own creative work and originality.
Zosia recorded her first EP and gained more confidence in what she was doing. During Thursday’s gala, she was recognized and honored with the mayor’s award for promoting Bolesławiec in the art category.
